We use a 5 step program to get your turf healthy and beautiful

Step 1
Early Spring Application

A balanced slow release fertilizer is applied to strengthen cell development of the plant. It is designed to not cause excessive spring growth. Pre-emergent crabgrass and broadleaf weed control will be applied when the weather permits.

Step 2
Late Spring Application

A balanced slow release fertilizer is applied to strengthen cell development of the plant. It is designed to not cause excessive spring growth. Pre-emergent crabgrass control and broadleaf weed control will be applied when the weather permits.

Step 3
Summer Application

A slow release non-burning formula is applied for long-lasting green. Targeted broadleaf weed control.

Step 4
Fall Application

A balanced fertilizer to promote a health root development is applied to the turf. Balanced for fall color and recovery from summer stress. This targets broadleaf weeds.

Step 5
Late Fall Application

A balanced heavy rate of fertilizer will be applied to help develop an extensive root system and winter hardiness. Broadleaf weed control is targeted.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Spring Liquid Aeration

Our spring liquid aeration is gentle on your grass and soil. It loosens the soil to allow nutrients to be absorbed by the roots of the grass. When liquid aeration is paired with our 6 step lawn care program, it is easier for your grass to reach ideal conditions.

Grub Control

Preventative grub application usually applied in conjunction with step #3.

White grubs are the larval form of a group of beetles. Early in the summer, the beetles lay their eggs in the soil beneath the turf. Within 14 to 21 days the eggs hatch and the larvae begin feeding on the roots of the turf.

For grub control to be effective, it must be times just right. Once grub damage has occurred, it is more costly to remedy.

Fall Core Aeration

Aeration is one of the most important cultural practices available for your lawn. Aeration helps control thatch, improves soil structure, helps create growth pockets for new roots, and opens the way for water and fertilizer to reach the root zone for your lawn.

Annual or semiannual aeration is advised for all lawns, especially those with thatch buildup, and any lawn that needs to be thickened up.

Aeration removes thousands of small core or clods of soil 1" to 3" inches in length from your lawn. These soil fragments melt back into the lawn after a few rainfalls, mixing with whatever thatch exists on your lawn. The holes created by aeration catch fertilizer and water. Turf roots naturally grow toward these growth pockets and thicken in the process.

Aeration holes also relieve pressure from compacted soil, letting oxygen and water move more freely into the root zone.

Fall Over-seeding

Over-seeding your lawn is vital for a green, thick, healthy, and weed free lawn. 5lbs of premium grass seed will be applied per 1,000 sq. ft. Over-seeding your lawn helps reduce and many times eliminates competition from broadleaf weeds and crabgrass.

Lime Application

Lime is applied to increase fertilizer effectiveness, to have faster pH adjustment, and neutralizes soil acidity immediately.

Flea and Tick Control

This service is provided to help control the flea and ticks population in your lawn.
